Cold Desert Tattoo was founded in West Monroe in 2012 by Mike & Robin Moore, who built the studio around quality work, professionalism, cleanliness, and making every client feel welcome.

On October 1, 2026, Mike and Tracy Karstendiek became the new owners, beginning a new chapter for Cold Desert while remaining committed to honoring what Robin started and the reputation she worked hard to build.

That reputation speaks for itself. Cold Desert has been recognized as “Best of the Delta” every year since opening in 2012, something we are incredibly proud to carry forward.

Our talented artists take pride in providing quality, professional work while maintaining a safe, clean, and sterile environment. Our artists maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens, helping ensure the safety and well-being of every person who walks through our doors.

Today, Cold Desert continues to offer professional tattoos and piercings in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
